Answer: No, the EZ Track GPS fleet tracking system provides a complete service including the GPS tracker, software and network connectivity to the tracker. Answer: EZ Track has several plans to suit your needs. With a carefully chosen plan you will have a low fixed monthly price to track your vehicle. Can I install it and track without them knowing? Answer: Once the device is installed it is undetectable; however, you may want to consider the benefits of informing staff as a proactive measure to increase employee accountability and overall efficiency. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Question: What about installation? Answer: Depending on your location we can offer professional on site installation services. Otherwise we have found Best Buy or Future Shop to be the most cost effective for installation, however this is a simple installation for any car alarm or car stereo store. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Question: What if my driver speeds or goes outside the geo-fence and I am not at my computer? Answer: You can receive alerts to your cell phone or blackberry. The report will give you the breech of speed or geo-fence boundary and vehicle location as well as time of day. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Question: How often does the EZ Track GPS system locate my vehicle? Answer: Our standard reporting is configured to track and document your vehicles location every 5 minutes while it is in motion. However you have the option to increase the regularity of reporting to every 3, 2 or 1 minute. It's parked location is also reported. Question: What happens if my vehicle goes out of cellular range, will it still track? Yes, your vehicle is tracked with GPS technology; we use cellular service to report our findings to you. When your vehicle is out of a cell coverage area the tracked locations are saved in memory and reported as soon as your vehicle re enters a cellular zone. To ensure the best possible coverage at all times EZ has chosen to work exclusively with the providers of the largest cell coverage in North America. Question: Are there times when my vehicle cannot be tracked? In extreme weather conditions there will be times when your device is hidden from GPS satellites. At these times you will miss tracking locations but that will be an infrequent occurrence. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Question: How accurate are the speed and geo-fence alerts? Answer: The device reports its location every 5 minutes while in motion (or more regularly as explained above). The speed of the vehicle or the breech of the geo-fence (entering or exiting) will be taken at the moment of the report. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Question: How many geo-fences are supported? Answer: You can have up to 8 geo-fences for each GPS vehicle tracking device. Each geo-fence is four sided and centered around an area that you specify. Answer: You can have 3 alert recipients for each device. A recipient may be either an email address or a cell phone number. Answer: For fleet tracking and hardwired devices there is no maintenance required. Once the EZ Track GPS tracking device is installed, you are on your way to increased efficiency and productivity. Rental devices for personal use have differing battery lives and will require recharging. Answer: Yes, your device can be installed to include the starter disable feature.
